The Best Transparent Drive Pedal

I ordered a new drive pedal and it finally came. Excitedly I opened the box. It was empty. I got mad. Then I remembered it was a transparent drive. Silly me. So I fished around in the box and felt it. I took it out and tried it. Wow! It’s a little tricky to hit the switch but it sounds totally transparent. In fact, it's so transparent I usually can’t tell if it’s on or off. I love it! Although I might put some paint on it for location purposes. 

Just a little joke gang. I think I understand what people mean when they say “transparent overdrive.” And although it may be an oxymoron (jumbo shrimp, found missing, political science, pretty ugly), I accept that the term has become part of guitar culture. No one hates Leo Fender for calling a vibrato bar a tremolo bar. It may be technically wrong* but the term was used so much it stuck. Plus I think the meaning of the term transparent should be clear to anyone.
